The six pyramids of Giza. The seven wonders. I took this picture on a back of a camel and with a hard sun on my back. I felt like a real desert nomad, walking aimlessly, looking at the sand and at the pyramids. I thought of how great this moment was, looking at these wonders up close is simply sensational, a dream experience.

When my travel buddy Riadh convinced me to visit Egypt in the end of 2017 it was clear that we had to visit the pyramides. I have to say, it wasn’t as touristy as I thought. I was really impressed by the actual size and the charisma of these historical world wonders.

In today’s world of easy access information and increasingly amazing imagery you can often be left underwhelmed when seeing something in reality, It was a plesant surprise to find the Terracotta Army did not just live up to the hype but thoroughly exceeded it, a truly awe inspiring site that they have only just scratched the surface of The scale of the site and in particular what is still under the ground is mind bending

This was our favorite temple at Angkor Wat. We went here during our first day visiting the temples and the second day we decided to return at sun up. We were the only people in the temple for about an hour that morning. It allowed us to explore and experience the temple without the scores of tourists like the day before. Definitely the best way to experience this temple.

This shot was taken in the medieval Turku Castle, Finland. A group of Chinese tourists suddenly stormed the entrance as I were taking a couple of shots of the courtyard. Interesting though, this made the shot much better, as they appear to be very ghost-like, thanks to a long exposure. The visitors now became the Castle Ghosts in my photo.

Balancing rocks is a fun family activity, and is popular in some parts of the world. The pile in the foreground is just begging to have more stones added to it. I enjoyed playing around with depth of field taking photos of these piles of pebbles. This popular site is next to the sea between Cairns and Port Douglas in Australia.

On the set of Lucifer on Netflix, we go to a lot of locations, including churches. While in between scenes or while my actors are changing the clothes that I set in their room, I snap photos of the architecture and interesting locations. The shapes of this building were so detailed that I needed a good photo. Did I capture it?
